The company thrived for decades under Leonard's capable hand, and he sold his business in 1990, after a long and successful career. Under new management, Brown Plumbing continued to grow, and became known as L.J. Brown Service. The commercial service department was expanded to handle the new influx of Bogot customers, who appreciate having a single source for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services. In addition, we have continued to upgrade our residential service capabilities; our new "Super Trucks" carry far more inventory than typical vehicles, and our up front pricing system has been a big hit with customers, removing the "surprise" element.
